Earlier this week, East Lothian Investments Limited held its quarterly Decision Board meeting, bringing together members to discuss how best to continue supporting local businesses through the Interest Free Loan Fund.

Stepping out of the usual meeting setting, the board gathered at the Edinburgh Innovation Hub, making the most of one of their excellent meeting spaces. The visit also included a short tour led by Norman Hampshire, highlighting the dynamic environment that helps drive business growth.

A productive and inspiring session focused on strengthening support for East Lothian’s business community.

📣 Funding Opportunity for East Lothian Event Organisers

VisitScotland's National Events Programme is now open for applications, offering grants of £5,000–£25,000 to support the development of sporting and cultural events across Scotland.

✅ Events must:
• Take place outside Edinburgh and Glasgow
• Be held between January and May 2027
• Attract more than 1,000 attendees
• Have a delivery budget of at least £20,000
• Demonstrate their ability to drive domestic tourism and benefit their host region

📅 Application deadline: 24 June, 2pm
