Your Help and Support Is Needed!

After several years of volunteering our current chairman/bookings secretary will be stepping down at our AGM on Tuesday 24th February. In order for the Woodland Centre to stay open and continue to support the community we need new committee members.

The commitment is very little - we meet 2/3 times a year (plus the AGM) to discuss how things are going and there will be an occasional need to open and close the centre for sessions.

However, if you are able to take on a bit more it would be of huge benefit for someone to manage the bookings (again, not a huge amount of work, approx 1hr a week).

Please message us or email [email protected] to express an interest or come along to the AGM at 7.00pm to meet the rest of the committee.

This is a joint venture with Gunnislake Village Hall and allows you to book either venue online, as well as see an up to the minute bookings calendar for availability for both venues!

You can also check out pictures of the venues, including 360 degree walkthroughs (coming soon for the Woodland Centre) and more.

Thank you for those that attended our AGM last night.

It was agreed that we will have to increase our price slightly to accommodate the recent rises in utility costs so from April 1st our new rate will be £12 per session (which is still up to 4hrs).

This is the first price increase for several years and we hope you agree the centre still offers excellent value for money. We appreciate your continued support of our venue.
