Guisborough and East Cleveland Sea Cadets This is the official Guisborough and East Cleveland Sea Cadets Page. Cadets have the opportunity to take part in a variety of water and land activites.

Junior Cadets 10—12
When you join you’ll take part in lots of great events and exciting activities like sailing, canoeing and abseiling. We guarantee you’ll have lots of fun and make friends. You’ll also get to learn about really useful things like first aid and communications! Sea Cadets 12—18
From rock climbing to kayaking, there are so many challenging and exciting opportunities waiting for you. Sea Cadets meet once or twice a week and during the summer when all the sailing and boating activity gets started, your unit will be out on the water most weekends too. Take part in all kinds of competitions from music, power boating and sailing, to football and Drill, plus learn nautical skills as you complete your training. Not only will it be fun, but your new skills will definitely give you a head start in life and boost your confidence – weekends will never be the same again!

Reminder that there is no unit night this evening - -Stockton is closed and there is no boating.

Staff are preparing the recruitment kit for Croft tomorrow at the race circuit in Darlington same as last year.

Hi all!

Reminder for those cadets available and coming to help tomorrow at Yorkshire Day on the high street, you’re all still needed and welcome!

We Meet at Sunny field house at 09:00hrs and then move to required stall area.

Scope for the day is 6-8 cadets to help in pairs at various locations. It will be things like helping around the market tombola or helping point people in the direction of things happening, helping to keep a nice straight orderly line at the face painter etc.
Also helping Cpt. Hart run a family activity and Lt. and PO Myers run the engagement stall.

Hot weather notice,

Due to the temp, anyone who would rather wear non uniform this evening is fine to do so. We would rather you come in civilian attire and be comfortable. Please ensure you also bring a drink you can put in the fridge to have as you require.
