Resistance Training Skill Competency (RTSC) is a term used to describe the technical ability someone has towards training.
If this is made the priority, youth athletes can start training at any age, the aim will be to get better at the skill of lifting weights rather than lifting as much as possible.
Then during important training windows like adolescent growth spurts, athlete strength will skyrocket, because they already possess the skill to train well and safely.
Tiago here is executing a pretty perfect TB Deadlift with 1.2xBW, only the second time using the Trap Bar. Well done!
