What a week of cricket we’ve over the past seven days!

Last Saturday, the 1XI secured their first win in Division 1 in comprehensive style against Frensham. Ali with his second ton of the season and Seb flying through their top order. The 2XI made it a perfect Saturday winning comfortably at Stedham.

Whilst, a defeat came on Sunday at Frimley, it was still a great day - with new Club President John Watters taking his 650th wicket for the club having only joined in his mid sixties.

Both Midweek teams then also went onto win and keep the hunt alive for silverware.

Let’s hope this weekend can match it - with the 1XI travelling to Dogmersfield, the 2XI hosting Churt and Sunday team away at Grayswood. But most importantly our new women’s team are due to play their first (modern) game at Gosden Common on Sunday afternoon🏏

Great two games of midweek cricket at Bramley this week and two important wins!

No great caption needed for this one! At just the 85 years of age - Mr John Watters is back for more cricket… two wickets on Sunday to add to his slightly remarkable 646 wickets for the club (and he only joined at 64).

A club legend on the pitch - but also off it - always the first to arrive to setup and makes sure everything is done before he returns home for his cheesy chips!

Teams are in for this weekend!

Despite exam season being in full flow the 1XI name a strong side for the season opener away at Chiddingfold!

The 2XI play the same opposition at home with both teams hoping the rain stays away as they get going in their new leagues🏏
