Guildford City Boxing Club

Guildford City Boxing Club England Boxing affiliated amateur boxing club. We're a busy, friendly club, open to all, including absolute beginners. We look forward to seeing you.

We offer sessions for minors (5-9), juniors (11-18), and seniors (18+). If you're thinking of coming along or joining please do. Just turn up on a training night (novices: Tuesdays & Thursdays). We're next to the Park Barn Community Centre on Cabell Road in Guildford and offer plenty of on-site parking. Bring along your comfortable training clothes – these can be shorts and t-shirt or tracksuit bo

Good morning All

The 2025/2026 season officially ended yesterday.

We competed in a total of 152 bouts over the season, winning 66, losing 64 & 22 skills bouts.

We remain one of the most active clubs in the country & we hosted seven shows.

After an incredible twenty-eight years at Guildford City Boxing Club, John Edwards has resigned from his positions as Joint Head Coach & Honorary Secretary to move on to pastures new.

John has made a huge contribution to the history of our club & has been a positive influence on so many boxers over the years.

We wish John every success with his new venuture & thank him for all that he has done. His legacy & the memories that he has built will last forever.

Guildford City Boxing Club are the oldest boxing club in Surrey with over one hundred years of history. We have a dedicated tean of experienced coaches & we remain strong, stable & dedicated to pushing forward to continued success.
