6 Common mistakes people make, when they don't achieve their Goals

Who else has been there? 

You set yourself a goal and fail to achieve it. 

Maybe you stopped because life got in the way or maybe you stopped seeing progress.

When you rewind and unpack it, you can see what stopped you.

1. Not setting clear, measurable goals - Setting clear, measurable goals is the foundation of any successful training program. Without specific objectives, it can be difficult to gauge progress and hold yourself accountable.

2. Not planning for the unexpected - Life is unpredictable and can throw unexpected challenges our way. Building flexibility and backup plans into your training program can help you make adjustments and achieve your goals despite unexpected obstacles.

3. Not breaking down the goal into smaller targets - Break down your goals into smaller targets that you can act on a daily or weekly basis. This will help to ensure you are consistently taking steps toward achieving your overall goal. 

4. Not tracking progress - To stay motivated and on track, it's important to track your progress and celebrate your successes. This will help keep you motivated and provide valuable feedback for future goal setting.

5. Not setting time limits - Setting time limits for each task or goal can help to provide greater structure and motivation to achieve it. 



6. Not seeking help - Sometimes, it can be helpful to ask for help to achieve your goals.

I put this together to simply show you how I lost 15kg and transformed my body

But why? Well the other day I typed in fat loss on google and the amount of trash out there had me startled.

There are still articles being pushed about magical drinks and food that will help you lose body fat.

Even on social media we have “coaches” posting “fat burning workouts”.

So after abusing my eyes with this nonsense I decided I would recount my own secrets to weight loss and fat loss.

Now if you swipe through this post hopefully you’ll understand that my secret isn’t lemon water, kale or HIIT workouts

The actually secret is...

Struggling with motivation and hitting a block with your train can happen to anyone from the newcomer to the advanced gym hero.

Staying motivated can be hard when results don't come quickly. It is also easy to get burnout and lose sight of the end goal when your motivation to train is low.

Recognising when you are struggling with motivation and finding ways to push through can be challenging, but it can be done.

Taking regular breaks, setting achievable goals, and rewarding yourself for your accomplishments can all help to keep you motivated. Additionally, having a good coach and support network can go a long way in maintaining motivation.

It is also important to remember why you are training in the first place, and how it will benefit you in the long run. With a combination of self-discipline, hard work, and inspiration training can become a rewarding and successful experience.
