Big thanks to me man Natty for helping out with this concept ride.
Been toying with this idea for a while now.
Decided to try a “couples ride” with more experienced riders bringing along their less experienced partners / friends / significant others.
All on e-bikes (hired from Just pedal) and all set off together for a gentle plod up the hill.
At the top, the groups split with experienced descending one way, less experienced taking a more sedate route and all meeting at the bottom to mooch back up again.
Just under 3 hours and 25km of fun, smiles, views, stunning woodland and trails to suit everyone’s needs.

A steady 24km ride enjoying the stunning area we live in.

Last night’s Just Pedal advanced ride out from the Hideout was all time prime!! 🤌🏻
2 hours pretty much non stop, impossible e-bike climbs, spicy full tech deserts, cutesy views and all finished off with pizza, beer and a fire pit. Doesn’t get much better than that 😍
Roll on the 29th May for the next one….

Super excited to be unleashed this Friday night to guide an advanced only MTB group for Just Pedal starting from The Hideout at 18.00.
Alongside my group there will also be a Ladies group and a novice - intermediate group. Hire bikes are available and prices starting from £10 which includes a free drink when we return. Pizza van will be serving up primo pizzas too!!

Poor ol Forest just can’t catch a break….
He can catch the dropper mount with his knee though. Both ended up worse for wear. First aid kit back out again and a trip to A&E n a Sunday night for him. Nice to hear the medical staff were very complimentary of my cleaning, medi strip and bandaging skills. That 2 day first aid course is coming in handy 😬
