A New Space, The Same Warm Welcome!

Today was our first day working from The Hive at St James Square, Grimsby, and what a beautiful place to begin this new chapter.

There's something special about stepping into a fresh space. A place designed for connection, conversation, and growth. Values that sit at the heart of everything we do at Space Between Us.

Kirstie was here today, welcoming clients for counselling sessions and settling into our new surroundings. We feel incredibly grateful to be part of such a welcoming community and to have a calm, comfortable space where people can pause, reflect, and feel supported.

We're looking forward to meeting both new and familiar faces here in the weeks ahead.

Some roles hold more than people often see.

We’re really proud to share that we’re now a Fostering NEL Foster Friendly Business, supporting carers in North East Lincolnshire, but for us, this is about more than a label.

It’s about creating a space where foster carers feel understood.

Fostering can be deeply meaningful, but also complex, emotional, and at times, isolating.
And not all of those parts feel easy to talk about elsewhere.

Our latest blog explores this more gently, from navigating the transition into becoming a foster parent, to the way your own experiences can shape how you care for others.

And as part of our commitment, we’re offering £5 off each session for foster carers (with ID shown at your first appointment), to help make support feel that little bit more accessible.

Some moments feel small on the surface…

This week, we met with Emily from the Fostering NEL team at The Business Hive, and we’re really proud to share that Space Between Us is now a Foster Friendly business. 💚

It’s a simple step, but one that matters.

Being foster friendly means recognising the incredible role foster carers play, and creating a workplace that understands, supports, and stands alongside them.
