🎱 WHERE DO I START? WHAT A DAY AT THE ACADEMY! 🎱
What a Sunday! We welcomed one new player and one new coach to the academy team, and we couldn’t be happier.
A massive welcome to Braydon, our newest academy player. And an equally big welcome to Coach Andrew Davis, whose wealth of snooker experience will be a fantastic addition to our coaching team and will help the academy no end. 👏
Today’s session covered:
⚪ White to Black Challenge
🛡️ Safety Play
🎯 Break Building
🧍 Stance & Cue Holding
⚪ Cue-Ball Control
For our new starter, we went right back to the basics — stance, holding the cue correctly and learning to play the cue ball. And honestly… he absolutely smashed it! 👏🎱
Every single player who attended today made progress, achieved something and showed just how much they are developing.
A special mention has to go to Ollie and Lucian, who have been working through different challenges over the past few weeks. Today they absolutely smashed those challenges, and we couldn’t be prouder of them. 🏆👏
Seeing the children improve week after week is exactly why we do what we do.
