Good luck to two of our juniors who are taking part in the first event of the EPSB U16 Tour at Dereham in Norfolk this weekend! 🇬🇧🎱

Both Ethan and Noah put in the practice and effort to get themselves ready, and now it’s time to go out there, play their game and enjoy the experience. 💪👏

The Academy fully supports you and will continue to support you, just as we do with ALL of our juniors. ❤️

We are incredibly proud of every single one of you and the effort, commitment and determination you all put into improving your snooker. 🥰🎱

🎱 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY 🎱

We’re looking for local businesses who would like to support the next wave of snooker talent from our area! 🌟

This season, 5 of our juniors will be competing nationally on multiple EPSB Junior Tours across various age groups — and competing at the highest level of junior amateur snooker available.

These opportunities do come at a cost.

As an academy, we have already covered the EPSB memberships and tournament entry fees for all five players. However, with tournaments taking place across the country, there are additional costs involved, particularly travel and overnight accommodation.

We are therefore looking for a business or businesses who would like to become part of their journey by sponsoring our juniors' competition waistcoats.

👕 Your company logo would be displayed on ALL 5 juniors' waistcoats throughout the season.

These waistcoats will be worn at:

🏆 U14 Stage 2
🏆 All U16 Tour Events
🏆 U16 Championship
🏆 U18 Championship
🏆 All U21 Tour Events

That means your company will receive exposure across multiple national events throughout the season, with your logo being worn by all five players as they compete around the country.

Our juniors range in age from 13 to 16, with our youngest competing at U14 level and our eldest already competing on the U21 circuit at just 16 years old.

They are members of the longest-running and most successful junior snooker academy in the area, with numerous titles and achievements across the academy over the years.

Most importantly, we are a Community Interest Company (CIC). We are not a business and we don't operate for profit — every penny raised goes straight back into supporting our juniors, their development, coaching and opportunities to progress in the sport.

❤️ By sponsoring the waistcoats, you won't just be getting your company logo on a shirt.

You'll be helping five young local players compete nationally, gain invaluable experience and hopefully progress towards the next level of the sport.

Every table was in use during this week’s Junior Academy session, which makes for a brilliant atmosphere around the club. 👏

The juniors absolutely love seeing the club buzzing, and it’s fantastic to see so many people enjoying their snooker. ❤️🎱

Good luck to our four Juniors who are heading to Breakers Club in Leicester tomorrow to take part in the U21 Tournament! 💪🎱

Representing the Academy:

🔵 Harry Newby – 16

🔵 Noah Cuthbert – 13

All four have been putting in the hard work, practising regularly and showing great commitment in recent weeks. 👏🔥

This will be their first competition of the 2026/27 calendar, so it's a great opportunity for them to put all that practice into action and test themselves against some excellent players. 💪🎱

Whatever happens tomorrow, go out there, enjoy the experience, give it everything and make yourselves and the Academy proud! ❤️💙

🎱 JUNIOR ACADEMY – END OF MONTH HANDICAP TOURNAMENT! 🎱

What an amazing turnout for this week's Junior Academy session, with 12 juniors down for our usual end-of-month handicapped tournament! 👏👏

The juniors started with group stages, followed by a knockout competition, giving them the perfect opportunity to put everything they've been learning throughout the month into practice in a proper competition scenario. 🏆🎱

🔥 GROUP WINNERS & KNOCKOUT STAGE 🔥

🔵 Ethan Sheen won his group after a blue-ball shootout was needed, with everyone finishing on the same points!

💪 Layten Ling won his group and continued his fantastic form.

🎯 Ethan Hornigold also came through as group winner.

⭐ William played superbly to win his group AND raise his highest break to an excellent 18! 👏🔥

A special mention has to go to Ethan Sheen, who was competing in only his 2nd week at the academy. Ethan made it all the way to the semi-finals, showing some fantastic shot-making and matchplay. For a junior who is only just beginning his snooker journey, that's a brilliant achievement! 👏🎱

Another huge mention for William, who won all of his group games before narrowly losing his semi-final 2-1 to Layten Ling. All three frames went right down to the final black! 😱👏

And to top it off, William raised his highest break to 18! Fantastic progress! 🔥

🏆 THE FINAL

Layten Ling went on to win the final 2-1 against Ethan Hornigold, producing a fantastic 42 break in the deciding frame to clinch the tournament! 👏🔥

Layten also recorded an impressive 55 break during the group stages.

🎱 HIGHEST BREAK: Layten Ling – 55
⭐ PLAYER OF THE WEEK: William Pearson-Oldcorn

A massive well done to ALL 12 juniors who took part. 👏👏

It's fantastic to see how much every single one of them is developing week on week. The improvement, confidence and matchplay we're seeing is brilliant to watch. 🎱❤️

Some of our juniors definitely have the snooker bug.... 😂

One is currently on holiday in Greece and HAD to find a table to get some practice in! 🇬🇷

Fantastic to see the dedication, but surely there’s a waterpark there somewhere?! 😂😂

Enjoy the rest of your holiday... although we suspect you’ll be back on the table tomorrow! 🤣
