⚽️ GRIMSBY UNITED TRAWLERS – FUNDRAISER! ⚽️

We’re a brand-new grassroots football team, and we’re incredibly excited to get the boys started on their journey! 💙⚽️

As with any new team, getting everything together comes with plenty of costs — kits, equipment, training and everything else needed to get the lads out on the pitch.

So, we’re running this “Guess the Name of the Football Team” fundraiser to help raise some much-needed funds for the team. 🙌

We are currently recruiting players, including a goalkeeper, to join our newly established team. The squad is being led by two highly experienced coaches who both played football at academy level.

While the team has been formed with players who have experience in the Blue League, previous experience at this level is not essential. We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and committed players who are eager to learn, develop their skills, and succeed in football.

The boys have all received a fitness and dribbling booklet today, along with a small treat for their hard work and attitude.

Developing as a player doesn’t stop at training sessions, the work completed at home is just as important. Regular practice between sessions helps improve fitness, confidence on the ball, and overall development. Even small amounts of consistent work can make a big difference over the course of the season, and we encourage all players to stay committed and continue practising at home. ⚽👏

It’s been a very exciting two weeks for Grimsby United Trawlers, we’re delighted to welcome our newest players to the squad! It’s great to have you on board as we continue building this new team together.

We’re still in the early stages, and it’s brilliant to see the group growing already. There’s a real sense of opportunity here as we shape our identity, improve week by week, and enjoy our football together.

We’re still looking for more players to join us, so if you’re interested (or know someone who might be), feel free to get in touch. All abilities are welcome the focus is on building a strong, friendly team environment and enjoying the game.
