Incredibly proud of the lads today. The 3v3 football was a new experience for the boys and they fully embraced it. End to end, energetic fun for all the boys who were very successful in their games. They played passes, looked after each other and were positionally intelligent. We could not pick a MoM today as they were all fantastic. Lots of goals, a few extra bruises and a medal too.

Well done boys - so impressed with the teamwork. Up the Lions! 🦁⚽️🏅

Kickstarter of the match - Harry!

Today we hosted a friendly between our Kickstarter counterparts, the Kangaroos 🦘. The game was a really close contest, with the Lions 🦁 showing how far they had come in a year. Some brilliant football played by all of the lads.

We chose Harry as our MoM today for his tireless work rate, his willingness to get stuck in and his calmness on the ball. He caused all sorts of problems with his measured passing and even bagged himself a goal with a great distance strike (even if the celebration was horrendous 😁). Harry stuck to his role,. supported his team, and most importantly, did not stop smiling the whole game!

Well done Haz!

And well done Lions!

Kickstarter Of The Day - Alex

Due to our first league game of the season being postponed, we organised the first el-klasico of the season. What a game! Both teams played some great passing football and gave their all.

Today’s man of the match was Alex, who pulled us back into the game and scored some great goals. Also, his first touch was very impressive and he didn’t stop running.

The whole team worked hard and played some great football together.

Well done the Alex! 🦘

Time 5-6pm.
Price £50 for 7 weeks!
Ages - Year2, 3, 4, 5 & 6

An example of a block of focuses are :

Week 1: Keeping Possession in a 2v1
Week 2: Attacking in a 3v2
Week 3: Delaying an Attack in a 2v1 Overload.
Week 4: Making Recovery runs in a 2v2.
Week 5: Shooting/Finishing in Timed/Opposed scenarios.
Week 6: SSG’s (Small Sided Games) Incorporating Attacking, Defending, Shooting/Finishing.
