This Sunday a group of men all who have passed through the doors at Grims are taking part in the Orsted 10k race.

But they will be doing it a bit different to everyone else as they are going to be doing it carrying full combat weight 💪🏻

This will be to help raise funds for the Royal Marines Charity so please if you can donate and come out on the route to cheers the lads on 💪🏻💪🏻

The group consists of Full time serving reservists and veterans but all have the same commando spirit 💪🏻

If you was in the gym this evening you would of noticed one of our members Stuart giving it some 💪🏻💪🏻

Stuart is going to crack this crazy challenge everyday for the month of June all in aid of raising money for his daughters football team and Cancer Research UK a charity which is also very close to our hearts .

So if you see him cheer him on and please if you can donate no matter how small 🫶🏻

Your classes are on FITSENSE to book for next week 👍👍

Members email with new door codes etc will be sent tomorrow when I get some WIFI as currently sat enjoying the last bits of the warm weather in Devon.

I should be back for HYROX tomorrow so get booked in and I will see you all in the gym next week

Will be a hot one so turn up fed anf watersd don’t come if you have a hang over, only you are responsible for your prep in this heat…do it right.

P.s the hose pipe will he out for cooling during the Circuit and there will be plenty of water breaks 👍

Update - 25/05/26 - all feedback positive we are going to start this Tomorrow 26/05/26….please adhere to all the rules there will be special paperwork available to complete on the Juniors first visit on the desk Tomorrow please reread all the rules below 💪🏻💪🏻

Please give us some feedback don’t just scroll past, we really do value your opinions as the Gym is as much yours as it is ours.

We have been toying with the idea of introducing accompanied Junior sessions in the Gym we must of been asked a thousand times since we opened if kids are allowed so we have decided to introduce for a trial period (25/05/26 - 31/05/26) an accompanied 1hr session a day between 1600-1700 to see if it works.

I will make a promise to all members if this dilutes your session or your not enjoying your workout please let us know and we won’t continue with it.

Heres the Rules:
Ratio - 1 Parent/Guardian (over 25) to one Junior.

Timings - 1600 - 1700, 7 days per week.

Expectations - Behaviour of the Junior must be beyond immaculate we expect polite well behaved young people in our Gym who treat it with total respect.

Cost - £3.50 per Junior. Please let us know if you plan on attending so we can keep track, if we continue I will create a booking slot on Fitsense.

Misc - No consuming of any Energy Drinks or High Protein snacks from the vending Machine children do not need these, dress exercise clothing only (shorts/tracksuit bottoms, T shirts and Appropriate sports Trainers).
No Free Weights for absolute safety.

A Waiver must be signed by the Parent/Guardian on the Juniors behalf.

From the feedback from this mornings class it had been decided we will do a 0930-1030 Circuit on Monday.

Get booked in get your Phyz cracked then enjoy your day.

It’s gonna be a warm one so get Hydrated and eat correctly, please don’t attend if you have had a skinful on Sunday Night as we don’t want anyone taking a turn in the heat
