I was having a chat with my client the other day, she happens to be turning 80 soon.
She said to me- ‘do you know, I’ve really noticed how much easier it is for me to get out of the bath now, I don’t have to pull myself up now, I just get up pretty much unaided, I used to have to haul myself out using the handles, it was becoming a struggle’.
I just keep thinking about it and how absolutely brilliant this is. She is nearly 80 and her life is getting EASIER because she’s getting STRONGER.
She doesn’t do anything magical. She comes to see me 2x a week and strength trains. She makes an effort to get out for a walk most days. She enjoys gardening. She eats well.
And she is seeing life improving strength gains.
It just goes to show, it really is never too late.
