I am a female only Personal trainer, specialising in supporting women to feel fitter, stronger and more confident. I am passionate about improving the health and well-being of the women that I work with. I am based in Greetham and have a home gym set up- perfect for women who don’t feel comfortable going into the gym environment. I have everything you need for a fun and challenging work out- wheth

er you are a beginner to exercise or are more experienced and like to lift heavier weights. I am pre and postnatal qualified and having had two little ones myself, I know exactly how challenging a pregnancy and birth is on the body. It takes time for the body to heal, re balance and strengthen- sometimes even years after we have given birth! If childcare is a barrier to you getting to exercise, that is no problem at all. Babies and toddlers are more than welcome to come with you! I am also qualified to work with people who have long term health conditions- if you want to exercise in a safe and appropriate way but have no idea where to start because of health concerns, please send me a message- I would love to help. Overall health and wellbeing is so much more than just exercise- I work with all of my clients to look at all aspects of their health.

I was having a chat with my client the other day, she happens to be turning 80 soon.

She said to me- ‘do you know, I’ve really noticed how much easier it is for me to get out of the bath now, I don’t have to pull myself up now, I just get up pretty much unaided, I used to have to haul myself out using the handles, it was becoming a struggle’.

I just keep thinking about it and how absolutely brilliant this is. She is nearly 80 and her life is getting EASIER because she’s getting STRONGER.

She doesn’t do anything magical. She comes to see me 2x a week and strength trains. She makes an effort to get out for a walk most days. She enjoys gardening. She eats well.

And she is seeing life improving strength gains.

It just goes to show, it really is never too late.

If you are a woman in your 40’s or 50’s and you are worried you’ve left it too late- you haven’t! In fact now is the perfect time to start training and taking care of your health.

How you successfully accomplish your goals is entirely dependent on how you approach them.

Real talk here.

I may be a coach, but I’m also a real, normal woman with stresses, challenges- I’m human!

I have similar struggles to you, which is a good thing I think- I actually get how hard it is.

My last fat loss attempt failed because I wasn’t in the right mindset. I focused on where I felt restricted, I felt like I was missing out, I gave myself permission to stop because I felt a bit uncomfortable and the feelings of deprivation I’d created in my head got too much. I didn’t even feel hungry! It was fully in my own head.

So here we go again- except this time I’m fully taking my own advice and approaching it completely differently.

This time I’m going to get to where I want to be 💪🏼

I’ll update progress in stories and weekly in posts- so follow along for the success this time!
