A wapinshaw is a friendly game of bowls open to everyone - from experienced bowlers to complete beginners. It’s the perfect opportunity to give the sport a try in a relaxed and social environment 👏

Open to members, friends and family, with a few drinks and some music too whilst bowling🍻🎶

LADY ALICE BOWLING CLUB OPENING DAY 2026🍻🥂🕺

President John Clocherty would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended our opening day. Despite the weather and the lack of play on the greens, the support from members and invited guests was fantastic and very much appreciated.

A big thank you as well to the bar staff, the ladies who provided the catering, the committee for organising, and to everyone who came along and made the day such a success. Special thanks to singer Ellie Kennedy, who provided great entertainment throughout the day and into the night!

Opening Day - Saturday 4th April ☀️🍻🎤🎵

Join us on Saturday 4th April at 2:15pm for the official opening of the greens for the 2026 season, carried out by President John Clocherty.

Friends, family, invited guests and kindred clubs are all very welcome to come along. The ceremony will be followed by the usual game of bowls.

There will also be live music from talented vocalist Ellie Kennedy from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.

Food will also be provided.

We look forward to seeing you there for a great start to the season!
