Update from The Chartroom
We’re still open for business and look forward to welcoming you to The Chartroom here at Kip Marina!
Whilst we take the Coronavirus outbreak extremely seriously, we’d also like to remind you that we are open as normal and will continue to serve good food & drink, 7 days a week, in a safe and responsible manner.
Our primary concern is the continued safety and well being of our staff and customers, so we have initiated an increased sanitising and hygiene policy throughout The Chartroom for the added peace of mind of you, our customers.
You may notice a few differences in the way we are doing things, for example we’ve swapped our tabletop salt & pepper grinders, sauces etc., for individual disposable sachets, we’re sanitising all door handles, bar tops etc. every hour and we are changing the layout of our tables to ensure even more space between them.
We’re proud of having many regular customers who are ‘silver seniors’ and for their added comfort during these difficult times we are changing our function room into an optional ‘Senior’s Restaurant’ area.
Exclusively for an older age group, this room will offer window tables spaced a minimum of 2m apart and will aim to comply wherever possible with any ‘social distancing’ requirements that are issued. More than anything we want our older customers to feel as comfortable as possible here at The Chartroom.
For our younger customers, things are going to get exciting as we are about to complete our new Pirate Ship Play Zone which opens this Saturday 21st March in time for Mother’s Day this Sunday! More details and pictures of our Pirate Ship will follow tomorrow!
