The PADI Master Scuba Diver rating is often described as “the black belt of scuba.” While most people know what a karate black belt is, entry-level divers may not understand the prestige of the Master Scuba Diver rating.
To become a Master Scuba Diver, you must:
• Hold a Rescue Diver certification (and have completed all the pre-requisites for that certification)
• Complete 5 Specialty Diver courses
• Log 50 dives
