What a great weekend for James Steer
Thank you to all that took part in Jame's memorial fundraiser competition!
A huge thank to all that helped along the way,
There's so many people to thank individually, but you all know who you are.
If it wasn't for everyone's support, help, donations and the hire of James favourite lake, it wouldn't of been as successful as it was.
I think it's safe to say we all done James proud.
In total we was able to raise over £6000 which resulted in Jame's two amazing boys receiving £4350, with Kate also getting a spa day, a well deserved treat to relax and enjoy some pampering.
It was nice to see Jame's family, and to do this for them.
Once again thank you all.

So 4 years on and we are now here.
James Steer memorial comp is underway.
And already 3 fish out up.to 37.8
Just want to thank all the people that's taking part this weekend and a special thank you to people and companies that have donated to this special event, and also thank you to Warren for allowing to be held at DBL,
Without any of you this wouldn't of been possible, so thank you.

Hi all hope your all well.

Finally we have some great news.
James memorial competition is now on.
3-5 may 2024 at Darenth big lake.
We only have the one weekend so people wishing to enter please contact me through my face book page, David Matthews, or what's app or text me 07866778091, and I'll put you only the list.
I'll then go through swims etc and work out spaces etc.

Price isn't set yet as I'll need to work out fees and bbq etc but will probably be £120-£140

Please remember though, this is a memorial match for our great friend James.
So prizes might not be great as ideally I'd rather what we raise go to he's 2 amazing boys.

If any 1 can get any donations for prizes, fishing equipment, bait etc please feel free to help as we can do Raffles or it can go towards competition prizes.

I apologise for how long this has taken and I know some people got arsey but it was out of my control.

People that have already paid previously and not had a refund please contact me.

Let's make this the best weekend for James and share some great memories over a bbq.

Hi everyone, I hope your all keeping well,
For the people that haven't been notified yet but unfortunately again the matches for James at the big lake have to be but bk till next march 2023
We understand this has happened once already but that was totally out of our control due to lock downs etc. Sadly this time we have decided this as a group because the way things are still there's still that chance there could be another lock down then we would have to cancel at last minute and also due to some people losing jobs and starting new jobs.
We want to make this event a great event for James and also for he's family.
Any 1 that has paid and would like a refund that is no problem at all just drop me (David Matthews) or Darren Reynolds a message and we we get it sent straight bk. Any 1 that's happy for us to hold there entry fee will get 1st choice on next year's dates.
Once again we are truly gutted but hope the majority will understand this decision, and huge apologies to James family.
We will get this done and done right for you James Steer 💙
