End of an Era
It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the end of our journey, having served Greenford and Greater West London communities for over 35 years. It’s been a privilege to have made and kept so many friends and provided services to our vast loyal customer base.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for that! We’ve kept you cycling through two recessions, a covid 19 pandemic and way back to the early invention of the internet, we stayed the course.
Our industry has changed, the boom in cheap imported electric bikes and low-cost rentals and increases in operational costs, now is the right time to move onto the next chapter.
It’s been emotional, but most of all, it’s been great fun.
A big thank you to everyone from our Team at the Bike Shop Greenford : My late father Ron & Stephen (founders) with later additions our Manager Colin, Mechanic Declan and not forgetting Sharon in accounts, also all of our past employees, they have been invaluable over the years.
Our Last day trading is 19th June 2026
You are not going to be left stranded; a new venture is beginning very soon. One of our own, Declan, is striking out on his own initially, to serve the area as a mobile cycle technician “The Rolling Wrench”. Details of this are as below:
