Due to an unfortunate 5 a side footy injury to one of my regulars, and the annual winter lull in people wanting to train (fat season is upon us) 🙄😂, I have a bit of space through December to take on a couple of new privates 🙌🏼

I work closely with my private training clients to either add skills to their already existing martial arts repertoire, or to build a solid foundational game from scratch for those who have never trained before.

Sessions can cover striking, grappling or a mixture of both, with an emphasis on developing a deep understanding of combat sports technique and tactics 🧠

Quick post for anybody that hasn’t already placed an order for the new long/short sleeve rashguards and shorts, please get in touch with me via DM ASAP to let me know which items and in which sizes you would like. Rashguards are all fully sublimated and the shorts are not board shorts like shown in the picture, they are mid thigh length and will be grappling comp legal (no pockets etc) 🐾

Of all the different kinds of training I do, nothing makes my body feel as connected and balanced as FP. I think there are massive benefits to occasionally mixing up your training, especially for martial artists, and if you haven’t ever dived into FP training, I couldn’t recommend Chris enough as the man to show you the way 👌🏼

Since 2020 has been a pretty stagnant year for most, it’s not been the worst of years to be on the sidelines recovering from a fully torn and reconstructed ACL & meniscus.
Hopefully Covid f***s off next year and we can all get back to properly chasing them dreams 😎

Our Carlos hasn’t done too much striking training of note, he has messed about on the heavy bag a bit and has grown up in and around the gym, so people will have shown him bits. He has been coming in training Jiu-Jitsu multiple times a week for a good while now 🐾

This is like the second or third time he’s done a bit of pads with me. He’s only 8 years old! It is crazy the amount of coordination, balance, focus and drive this lad has. It always blows my mind how much quicker kids pick things up than adults, especially kids and smart and athletic as Carlos.
