A massive congratulations to Mark Prosser for winning the Derek Butterworth Memorial Trophy today at WBC. Mark bowled well all day, beating Martin McBurnie in the final.

Great effort by Mark Hallsworth and Mike Szpac for making it through to the semi finals.

Thanks to all who entered and those that came along to support help raise £370 for Bury Hospice.

Today we host the Derek Butterworth Memorial Trophy - 12.30 practice for a 1pm start.

The bar will be open from 1pm and we will also be showing Everton v Man United (2pm KO) and Arsenal v Chelsea (4.30pm KO)

Join us from midday tomorrow for the Forever 11 Memorial Trophy in memory of Ruby Cropper.

In addition to the bowling there will be raffles, DJ, games and food. The bar will be open from Midday, free entry for all. Raising funds for Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity.

Anyone with donations for the raffle can bring these along tomorrow or drop at the club today between 3pm-9pm.

The club is open early this afternoon for the President's Cup, for any members wanting to take part, the cost of entry is £5 and this includes food for all participating bowlers, food available for a small charge for spectators. Food includes:
Buttered chicken curry with rice
Cheese & onion pie
Meat & potato pie with mushy peas
Practice from 12.30pm for a 1pm start
