For some children, learning to swim in a busy lesson can feel overwhelming. That’s why we do things a little differently at Swimkidz. 🦈
Our stage lessons have a maximum of just 6 children, giving our teachers the time and space to really get to know each swimmer.

🪞 “Mirror, mirror in the class” 🪞
Our SwimKidz love the mirrors and looking at their beautiful reflections staring back at them ❤️
Did you know...
Mirror games help babies with their cognitive and physical development and also help babies learn self awareness. The mirrors also increase babies ability to focus.
Babies are fascinated by the human face and so mirrors are always greatly received in our classes.
It’s only around 15-24 months that babies start to recognise their own reflections as being themselves so up until then they’ll happily explore the features they see in the mirror.
All of this plus, our mirror work in class is the perfect time for a cuddle and a special bonding moment for baby and their carer. ❤️
