Hey folks, Charlie and I are delighted to announce the birth of our son, Arthur!

He was born today at 13:59 and weighed just a bit over 8 pounds.

Mummy and baby are doing great! ###

While we have all been enjoying Christmas and new year back here in the uk. The GBR cadet team have been over in Australia at the cadet worlds. We woke up yesterday to find out that Toby bush and his crew Kemmel Thorogood was World champion with a race to spare as long as they didn’t get a DNE in the race today. Which they didnt. We also had 3 more GBR’s in the top 5 with Will and Annabel Shepherd second and mish collingride and Rhona Enkel 5th. We should also mention that there was also a German boat Koran Hirthe and Marc Swientek in the top 5 sailing with our sails so a great end/ start to the year 4 in the top 5. Well done everyone.

Today is a day to celebrate not only is January over but it’s McNamara sails 50th birthday. Michael started up on his own in 1972 and has grown and grown to a company that sends sails not just in this country but all over the world and had many great results at national and international events is some many different classes. Here’s to many more. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🍰🎂🍰🎉🎉

After Boris announcement last week we have been getting a little bit more excited about the fact championship will go ahead this year. With that in mind Michael has been planning his summer of sailing so if you are thinking of new sails for them order early to not be disappointed.

Exciting day today in the loft for 2 reasons. 1. We have introduced Michael to The modern technology of zoom calls. 2. I’m sure you have all heard about the virtual dinghy show, normally Michael does his very popular talk on rig set up and this year is no different. He is current recording the talk and don’t worry there is still video demonstrations so you can see what he is talking about.
