Sports Club 88 Beetle Drive – A Bug's Life!
Sports Club 88 gathered at Bradwell CC on 24th June for an afternoon of Beetle Drive, where the competition was fierce, the tea was flowing, and the cakes mysteriously kept disappearing!
There was plenty of laughter and some very "interesting" artistic talent on display. It's safe to say that not everyone's beetles would survive a biology exam... but they certainly made everyone giggle!
A huge congratulations to Steve, our overall winner. Who knew Steve had a secret talent for drawing bugs? Rumour has it the local beetle population is now asking for selfies!
Our prestigious (ahem!) Wooden Spoon Award went to Sue, who accepted the honour with great dignity... or at least a smile! Someone has to keep everyone else looking good!
The raffle helped raise valuable funds for the club, so thank you to everyone who bought tickets and donated prizes.
A massive thank you to Carol & Graham for organising such a brilliant afternoon. It was a cracking event, full of laughs, friendship, and enough cake to undo at least three gym sessions!
