🏉Reminder - "Inner Warrior" is coming to Great Yarmouth–Broadland RFC🏉

📣 We’re hosting a women’s rugby taster session on Saturday 19th September at 15:00, and we’d love you to join us.

Whether you’re completely new to rugby or looking to get back into it, this session is all about confidence, fun, and trying something new in a supportive environment.

Our Inner Warrior programme is designed to help women discover the strength, teamwork and enjoyment rugby brings.

The RFU has made it clear that, with the current playing conditions, player safety is paramount.

Hard, dry pitches can present just as much of a safety concern as frozen or waterlogged pitches, and conditions must be assessed before rugby takes place.

Please respect our officials and their decision not to officiate a game if they believe the conditions are unsafe. These decisions are never taken lightly and are made with the safety and welfare of players at the forefront.

We are all itching to get the season underway and get back to playing rugby, but we also want to ensure we avoid unnecessary risks and injuries to players.

No one wants to call a game off — but no game is worth risking a player’s safety.

For the coming season, all membership and playing administration will be done via the Spond App. In order to sign up for membership of any class you will need to be registered.

We have taken this decision in order to reduce the overall burden of club admin by consolidating in a single app with the additional benefit of improving communications via the app for all club comms and updates

For all existing or new playing or non playing members (including Honorary memberships), could you please click on the link attached and follow the process to download the app and join. The link is also embedded in our page profile. Once registered, one of the admins will be in touch to progress your membership.

Memberships for season 2026/ 2027 are £150 for the year

Thanks in advance for your support, the club is building nicely on and off the pitch, is entirely self funded and relies on Membership as a major contributor to running costs and improvements
