🚨Match Result🚨

Three games and three very different matches.

The 1s put on a show at home posting 322 built on a ton from Elham who was supported by Ollie’s 46, before Usama smashed 76 at no7. Taking to the field the 1s restricted Tillingham to 128/3 at drinks before Rhys took apart the tail end with 4 wickets in 4 balls and 5fer overall. A massive 182 run win!!

The 2s had a difficult game with Rankins openers staying for the duration and finishing on 291 for no loss. After a tough time in the field our batsman struggled to settle in and build partnerships, ending their innings on 156.

It wasn’t the 3s day after losing the toss and being put into bat they were all out for 46. A few early wickets brought some hope but Oakland knocked off the remaining runs to take an 8 wicket win.

🚨Match Result🚨

Three strong performances last week but sadly only two out of three wins for GWCC.

The 1s dominated their game with a Humpo hundred, Rhys’s maiden 50 for the club, and then a tight bowling attack and safe hands.

The 2s at home put in a solid bowling attack on a road, getting the oppo all out for a reachable 220. However, despite a gallant effort they fell 10 runs short of their target.

The 3s secured a win by restricting the oppo to 119ao before Andy lead calmly from the front with a controlled 65no to get a 7 wicket victory.

Last week was a bit of a wash out with the 1s and 2s games being abandoned. The 3s completed their match but sadly lost in tough conditions.

Some great performances with the bat from Elham and Andrew for the 1s to get some bonus points. Jake got stranded on 96 having hit an 18 ball 50.
