Larry’s funeral this coming Wednesday -

2.30pm meet for 3pm funeral

North Devon Crematorium

TASC t-shirts if you have them and would like to wear

Otherwise, red tops

Afterwards there will be light refreshments at Lovacott village hall, all welcome.

For those who would like to raise a glass in Larry's memory, we have arranged for the bar to be available but it is cash only.

Hello everyone.

As a mark of respect, and to honour Larry’s commitment, love and dedication to TASC, we are asking anyone associated with the club past or present to wear their club t-shirt to the funeral next week if they are attending.

This is of course if you would like to.

TASC was such a big part of Larry’s life and as a club we feel like this would be a fitting tribute

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of TASC legend and former head coach Larry Hill.

He was 94 years old.

Larry was the most gentle, kind and caring man who was loved by swimmers, parents and fellow coaches alike.

He coached at TASC for many years, and was head coach for 20 years between 1985 - 2005.

Many swimmers have gone on to achieve fantastic results through Larry’s coaching and he had a knack of inspiring several generations by knowing just what to say, and when.

Larry was also our club president for many years and enjoyed handing out many an award at our annual presentation evening.

A massive loss to everyone associated with TASC and he will be very much missed

A very, very hot weekend in Plymouth but an amazing one for our TASC swimmers.

So many top swims from everyone, and far too many to post up individually, but in total they achieved -

A fantastic day as our younger and up-and-coming swimmers took part in our annual development gala.

A chance for race experience in a competitive environment amongst friendly faces.

For some, their very first gala!

Fast swims and lots of fun had.

All going home with a medal for their hard work.
