A fantastic day at the annual Simon de Montfort match today, hosted by Malvern Archers in some hot and humid, but otherwise perfect shooting conditions.

This friendly rivalry with Evesham Archery Club has been a cherished tradition since 1965, and it was a pleasure to welcome our friends from Evesham to Malvern for this year’s match. Thank you to everyone who travelled, shot, scored, helped set up, packed away, and contributed to the great atmosphere throughout the day.

Congratulations to all the archers who took part, and we’re delighted that Malvern Archers came away with the win this year. The standard of shooting was excellent, and the friendly competition was very much in the spirit of what makes the Simon de Montfort such a special event.

Thank you again to Evesham Archery Club for another memorable match. We look forward to renewing the rivalry on your home ground next year.

Today is the day!!! The H & W County Mixed is on!!! Come down and watch some of the best players in the county put on some incredible tennis!! The bar is open all day. The Over 50’s begins at 10am with the final on at 1.30pm. The open age group kicks off at 1.30pm with the final scheduled for around 5pm. Another fabulous Grand Slam Tourno was played out on Saturday! With over 70 players taking part, in 5 separate competitions, it was one busy busy day on court!! Huge thanks to Ruth for organising the event, so much hard work went into it to make it such a special day!! We salute you, Ruthie!!! Thanks to everyone who played, enjoyed a great day and Kaya Thai Street Food for their lovely Thai food. The final winners were:
