Another batting masterclass from the skipper. Ben batted incrediblely well to guide the boys to a good score. However, we were not able to defend the score and some below par bowling. There is a lot to learn from these defeats, and I hope the boys can enjoy the last 5 games of the season and make the most of the games remaining.

Ben Mousley 121* was the standout performer for the 1st XI. Ben carried the innings to get the boys to a good score on a fantastic batting track.

Unfortunately the 1st innings score wasn't enough to get the win as we failed to restrict the home team.

GHCC T20 Finals Day Squad.

Wonderful experience to get to finals day. We came up short and lost in the semifinal. We go again next season with aims of getting to another finals day.

GAMEWEEK 14 FIXTURES:

GHCC 1ST XI: Top of the league clash between Horton & Houghton. If the last match between was anything to go by, we are in for a right treat with the return fixture.

Great Houghton came out on top in the fixture earlier on in the season. Can they do it again and beat the league leaders.

Huge weekend of cricket for the club as they also have the T20 finals day to look forward to on Sunday.
