This morning’s Ladies Social Croquet session was quite a delight with a total of 9 in attendance.

Our first group of 4 ladies hit the court before the others arrived and they were quite enjoying their game. Then the next group of 4 ladies arrived and the silly comments started.

One member, who won a medal at yesterday’s competition, was accused of putting ”pressure” on the 4 ladies out on the court. We all had a good laugh and told her we expected to see her playing in the next Olympics.

Later, another of the ladies came off the court and in a very serious and professional sounding voice indicated that the green needed to be rolled. As you might imagine, this too got another round of laughter out of us all…as if we’re experts on the condition of the green. 🤣🤣🤣

After both teams had played, we escaped from the drizzle into the clubhouse where we enjoyed tea, Lemon Drizzle Cake, and more delightful conversations.

If you’ve not thought about joining us, you really must consider it as we always have a wonderful time.
