Grange Farm And Dunmow Running Club Grange Farm & Dunmow Runners have been introducing people to the benefits of running for over 30 years

Grange Farm & Dunmow Runners was formed by the amalgamation of two local clubs, Dunmow Runners established in 1982 and Grange Farm Trotters founded in 1996. We have about 100 members with a wide range of abilities, from recreational runners to those who love to compete. The Club meets on a Wednesday at 7.30pm at Dunmow Leisure Centre. During the summer months we switch venues for 3 months to run f

rom Felsted School Gym, this gives us some different routes to run during the light evenings. Sessions are varied week by week to keep it as motivating as we possibly can! The 1st Wednesday of every month is a time trial handicap. In the light evenings we run the Dunmow 5 course and in the dark evenings it is a 2.4 mile route around Dunmow Town Centre. Other more impromptu training runs take place in the daytime from Felsted Fitness, Stebbing Road, Felsted (Club Headquarters).

Huge congratulations to Grange Farm And Dunmow Running Clubs Spitfire Scramble team ‘The Merlin’s’ who took first place in the ladies 3-5 team category, completing 29 laps in 23 hours and 17 mins to take the win. Ulrike Weiss, Sophie Delaney, Simone Gubbins, Cathy Hadden and Fran Cooke ran through extreme heat, wildfires and the dreaded Ingrebourne Hill to claim victory. Well done ladies 👏

On Sunday 5th July Grange Farm And Dunmow Running Club held the Felsted 10k running event and what a day it was! It was a great race on beautiful country lanes with fantastic marshalls and great support from the local community. Well done to all who took part and to everyone from the club that made the event so special. Huge shout out to Megan John, Zach Shuttlewood, Kev and Howard for organising such a great day 👏

Grange Farm And Dunmow Running Club had a great day at the Essex Road Relays in Colchester yesterday. Always a fantastic team event and our V40 men took home silver medals and our V50 ladies took bronze medals! There were many great individual performances as well - well done to all that took part!

Sunday 2nd February was the excellent Gt Bentley Half Marathon which saw Grange Farm And Dunmow Running Club have a great squad of runners. Well done to all who took part but huge congratulations to Alex Cross who took 2nd overall female, Richard Williams who took 3rd overall male, Hannah McIlvenna who took 1st V50 female and Clare Hayes who took 1st V55!

This weekend saw Grange Farm And Dunmow Running Club runners compete in some excellent events! Dan Hadden completed the València Marathon in 2hrs 54mins which was a fantastic achievement, Joseph Ludwig took 1st place in the H&T Raynedeer Trail Half Marathon and Ben Rayner, Zach Shuttlewood, Justin Brown completed the Hurtwood 50k Ultra Marathon. What a weekend of racing..congratulations to them all!

Grange Farm And Dunmow Running Club are very proud that Sarah Williams represented the Essex Senior Women’s cross country team at the InterCounty Championships this weekend. Sarah had a fantastic run, taking 23rd place. Congratulations to Sarah and the whole Essex team!
