I always have great plans to keep adding updates to what we are doing but finding time to do just that seems even harder now than it did a few years ago. So its about time to show something recent. I am a great fan of F1 racing, I also have had a back injury for over 25 years which causes a lot of pain so shooting with heavy rifles simply does not work for me. So with this in mind I remembered the words of Colin Chapman of Team Lotus , lets add some lightness so using that for inspiration and the world of F1 I have designed some stocks to be finished in the colours of both the current and past great teams. As reach team has 2 cars the stocks in each colour will be limited to 2. So to start we are celebrating the current World Champions Maclaren. This stock was snapped up and sold prior to being finished . we also have the second stock of the "team" insetted for AA Evo . We hope you like it we are now planning the next pair.

This week another Bench Rest Rifle, more conventional in very high gloss black lacquer with adjustable pad including length of pull adjustment, 360 swivel and tilt cheek-piece, custom light weight trigger guard all metalwork polished flush fitting adjustment screws and all screws including action retaining bolts using same size Allen sockets to make life simple. To coincide with the British Shooting Show here's a very new design completed a couple of weeks ago for both Light and heavy classes of Bench Rest Shooting for his new Air Arms Rifle for free recoil no contact shooting to the specifications of a very good and well known shooter who shot a maximum score 25X just before collecting so no pressure there then. Here is another rifle this time in Turkish Walnut, a fairly straight forward thumbhole stock with ebony tip and grip cap with checkered fore end and grip on a 7m.08 Borden Alpine barrelled action. The customer is so happy with the way it handles and shoots we are now making one for his Sauer 2002.

Here's a stock the FT people among you might like from a couple of weeks ago. Though we mostly seem to make laminated stocks these days its rally nice to make either a full bore or air rifle stock in good walnut and unless you want to mortgage your house for the wood it doesn't come much better than this. A fine piece of rippled Turkish Walnut for a Ripley AR5s. I will try to post a picture of the other side tomorrow.

I thought how about an update of something recent so here's something from last week. An FT/HFT stock which can also shoot bench rest both from the shoulder and also no contact just trigger. I guess a true multi purpose stock for an AIR ARMS EVO.

Following the last post, I felt it was time to put things straight about me being retired. Despite Jane wanting me to stop and people posting elsewhere that I have Retired.
I am still working full time 6 days a week. Age apart I still enjoy what I do and have enough enthusiasm to keep at it. At 70 I would like to slow down a bit, I have not set a date to stop yet but I do not expect to be working full time at the end of next year. I would like to get a small workshop at home I can carry on making stocks in until I pop my clogs.

Its been a while since I last posted something so here are a few all from times past.
First is a HW35 Thumb Hole in a good grade of Black Walnut with high grain filled high gloss oiled finish, checkered grip and fore end.
Next is quite a contrast, a light weight Carbon fibre wrapped HFT stock for a Ripley AR5s with lots of adjustment finished in a high gloss polished epoxy.
last two are a bit of brightness first a Daystate Red Wolf in a custom laminate colour for FT , [forgot to include the hamster with Rowan unit in picture].
Final image is one of out Hunting 5 Bull pup stocks in orange and black laminate with lacquered finish, these offer a great upgrade to a very good rifle with a very poor factory stock.
