Well, normally this is when I put out an ironic post about the British Bank Holiday weather and attach photos of my wet weekends, or when I attach AI generated cartoon karate moves in the rain…

But this year? The weather was beautiful. The time off was beautiful. Everything was beautiful.

The only thing that could be even more beautiful is…

*KARATE TOMORROW!*

Training is ON tomorrow!
We will kick. We will block. We will punch!
We will drill all of the boring basic but strong and effective moves that end up with Harry kicking me in the head.
Let's train!

Come and train! This week we will be drilling the basics before getting the gloves on and squaring up.

Karate is ON TOMORROW!
Training as normal Monday April 13th.
It's been a lovely week off, but now I'm really looking forward to getting back to some proper training.
We had a week down in Devon. I tried to do a fancy kata video on the beach like a poser... The sea did not agree!

Looking forward to karate tomorrow. We will be looking at BUNKAI.
Bunkai is “interpreting kata” - trying to work out what the moves actually mean. We will focus mainly on the two early katas Heian Nidan and Heian Sandan.
