72 Hole challenge for Prostate Cancer UK
Thursday 25th June 26
Simon Micklethwaite, Brian Stock and Ben Winters will be taking part in the 72 holes in a day golf challenge for prostate cancer starting at 5.30am in the morning.
An amazing charity that helps men tackle this awful disease.

72 Hole Challenge for MS Society
On Friday 26th June 2026 two of our Members Daniel Roskilly & James Kenyon along with their Friend Libra Campbell will be carrying out 72 Hole Challenge on behalf Multiple Sclerosis Society for Daniels wife Ellie who suffers with the disease.
On the day Daniel, James and Libra will be all wearing sky blue soft lemons golf polo tops so if they are seen on the course on this day all other groups are to let them play through, due to the fact they will be teeing off at 4am and trying to fit in the four rounds in one day.
Daniel, James and Libra would highly appreciate any kind donations from our members for this special cause.

Mixed Greensome Trophy 2026

A successful mixed competition on bank holiday.

We played Greensomes and had 20 pairs entered which is so good to see.

Some good scores out there but the winners were once again Lee Cocker and Daphne Abraham with 43 points..

In 2nd place on count back with 40 points- Mark Whiten and Christine Allen

In 3rd place also with 40 points - Lee Evers and Sharon Foley

Threadgill trophy 2026

On Friday 1st May 2026 we see a full field of entrants for the Threadgill Trophy annual competition. Well done to all our members who participated.

A great day was had by all with some fabulous comments on both course and hospitality received.

Winner: Adam Scallen – Bentley GC total 139 Points
Runner up: Bailey Curran – Orsett GC total 143 Points
Third overall: Shaun Mills – Orsett GC total 144 points
