Kent County Netball Club

Kent County Netball Club KCNC was established in 1949 and is one the country's oldest and most successful netball clubs. We welcome new members from age 10 to adult.

Our teams play in the England Premier League, London & SE Regional League, Kent County Senior and Junior Leagues and local leagues. Training is on Thursday evenings at NWK College, Dartford.

Tough first match for the U18s in the Kent Netball County League against Telstars NC with a really unfocused start allowing them to take a huge lead which we never recovered from. Some really poor decisions and passing for a lot of the match, but also some bright spots which showed what we are capable of. With the whole squad getting court time, it was valuable experience. Well done to our defence, who were tireless, with Jaz on her County debut, Franke picking up OPoM and Bella the CPoM ❤️🩵

The U16s kicked off their Netball London & South East regioanl@league campaign with a close fought match against Starz Netball

It was really tight all the way through and even towards the end with a 5 goal lead, Starz fought back hard. Too many misplaced passes or bad choices were our undoing but hopefully now we’ve got the first match nerves out of the way, we will be more composed for the next one! Our defence throughout the whole court was amazing but the back three of Ciara, Alyssa and Sienna really turned over ball when we needed it! We also showed flashes of brilliance in attack, so will look to build on that consistently. Well done to Amelie who was OPoM, putting in a ton of work in all three attacking positions! ❤️🩵

Good start to the season at MMNL Kent for the 5th team taking a solid 36-29 win over Hospice Hoopers. Down to 7 😱 due to some last minute illness, the team worked really hard and a fantastic 11-3 first quarter proved to be the difference in what then became a very tight match. Well done to Sophie who was PoM, and a mention for the dynamic defensive duo of Beulah (on debut at this league) and Jaz (on debut for the club) who were a fantastic ferocious combo in the circle. ❤️🩵

Fantastic work from our current U15 squad (incl. four U14s!) at the U16 Regional League qualifier. The whole squad played stellar netball all day and topped their group, gaining automatic qualification without having to face the dreaded playoff round. Looking forward to seeing the development of this group next season and pitting ourselves against the region’s best! ❤️🩵

Super proud of our U14s today who left it all out on the court today at the Netball London and South East regional league qualifier. With four debutants we had lots of new combinations working together and it was great to see how much they improved over the day. They all showed tons of grit and determination and played super netball at times - we now need to work on consistency! Although we didn’t qualify there was a lot of great play for us to build on over next season.

Well done to the whole squad, led by captain Zahra.
Millie, Megyn, Isla, Gabi, Tito, Tomi, Betsy and debutants Emily, Elodie, Eva and coaches player of the day Beau who was an absolute beast in the mid court all day!

What an amazing day of performances from our U14s in the Elite 8 of the Plate!

Incredible start in the first match against , the squad powered off with some slick attacking play to goal, and terrific through court pressure to force multiple turnovers. Even with lots of changes they forged on to take the win 21-5!

The semi-final against was a humdinger, with the lead changing hands several times. We were down in the last quarter but the team showed incredible grit and determination to turn ball over and treasure it to goal, to pull away to a 20-17 win in the dying minutes.

In the final we ran out of steam a bit and despite making a huge number of turnovers, we couldn’t quite get our connections through court working and struggled to find each other. were well deserved 28-8 winners.

Hugely proud of the whole squad, with all 12 (including three U13s) taking the court throughout the day and contributing to what was a fantastic experience. Well done to Beulah who was selected as our player of the final, and also to Fable who was the coaches’ player of the day.
