Three of our Primary School aged teams travelled to Aviemore on Friday to play in a fun youth tournament! Players from P1-5 took to the pitch to represent both Carrbridge/ Tomatin and Grantown Primary Schools! Big shout out to those players who had their first ever matches 🥳 and well done to everyone for playing their very best shinty 🏃‍♀️‍➡️🏃‍♂️‍➡️💜

Special shout out to all parents and helpers who ran the busy bacon butty morning in Carrbridge to raise funds for the club! The day was a hit thanks to the massive efforts of parents, volunteers, youth players and local businesses too! 🍰🍳🥓😁

Thanks also goes to Simpson Game Ltd for donating their yummy venison sausages for cooked rolls as well as to the Cairn Hotel in Carrbridge for suppling the extra bacon when the butty team ran out!

Huge congratulations too our wonderful Rosie Trussell who yesterday recived the Calum Mackintosh Cup at the Grantown Grammar School graduation evening for her shinty performance this season.

Rosie is not only a fantastic player on the pitch, controlling the play, moving the ball and finding the back of the net. She is also a role model always turning up at training, always positive and always giving her all. Very much like Calum him self 🦦 ❤️

Come on down to Carrbridge village hall this Sunday the 7th of June for a brekkie roll & some yummy baked goods to support our local Shinty team! 🥓🍳🍰🍪There will be fun games and prizes to be won as well as a well stocked Tombola giveaway! 10am-1pm.

Some of our Strathspey primary players headed to Fort William to represent their Primary School- Carrbridge- in the small schools competition!

The team played very well, showcasing some good Shinty skills and making good team decisions on the pitch! Thank you to the Camanachd Association for running the event and Fort William Shinty Club for hosting and well done to the team!
