A regular question here at No Two towers…..what’s the best saddle?
With so many saddles to choose from and everyones different physiology (and mobility), getting the right saddle can be a nightmare.

So here’s some great advice; by a cheap saddle and just train your ass….

But a Fizik Argo or Brooks c15 is a good start….. 😊

Diaries; planners; organisers; fag-packets….. some of you use ‘em, some of you don’t.

I mentioned back in early March that the workshop diary was filling up quickly and indeed it has …. and continues to do so.

What with all the servicing commitments and my own early-Summer leave, the workshop diary is now full until June. Yes, JUNE.

I have programmed in slots and capacity during my normal working week for those smaller, or emergency jobs, but for scheduled servicing, the answer is likely to be June onwards.

Your long-awaited trip; the Sportive you entered in December; the summer arriving, or the cyclo-cross season starting, none should come as a surprise, so please do give me a call, book early.

Of course, I’ll always do what I can to help with any last minute issues…. Have a great summer.

The worst I’ve seen……

I’ve seen corroded bars before; normally sweaty indoor/turbo bikes, but wow, I’ve never seen this in person. Total failure of an alloy bar.

Sweat destroys alloy bars and the damage isn’t always visible….drop scrimp on changing bar-tape regularly.

Thankfully the rider was OK when this bar failed.

I was enjoy a ride today and just saying to my friend how lucky we are in this area….some great roads and rolling scenery….BikeRadar certainly knows….

Rutland hides a treasure trove of striking landscapes and quiet roads. Mark Bailey embarks on a 100km loop.

Just a short hop from thw workshop….

There was a queue for sausage rolls this morning……hardly surprising; we’re well served by The Croxton Village Shop……and they’ve very cycling friendly too…not just dogs) 🚴🏻🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♀️🐶🎂🍰☕️
