Great day for the Greenkeeping team making the most of the excellent weather.

Today’s work on the greens included a full renovation process:
• Double verti-cut using the new GreenTek Thatch-Away units
• Solid tining all greens
• Clean-up with the greens mower
•seed bare areas
• Top dressing applied
• Brushed and matted in
• Finally, everything was washed in to complete the process

These operations are essential for improving surface quality, reducing thatch, encouraging healthier root growth, and keeping the greens in top condition for the season ahead.

Fantastic turnout this evening with around 40 members volunteering their time to help the Greenkeeping team divot fairways 👏

Approximately 3 tonnes of divot mix was used across the 3rd, 7th, 8th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 16th and 18th fairways, a great effort all round.

A big thank you to everyone who came out to support, it really does make a huge difference 👍
