Fast, rocky and rooty descents..…paired with some wind, sun, rain and a thunderstorm - it was a wild weekend! Yes - the Dark Peak is the one for an awesome weekend of adventure on two wheels!

Awesome weekend of fun racing. I came 72nd out of 436 in Masters, so very pleased to not only get me and the bike down in one piece, but to get in the top 20% too. Hopefully we will manage to get tickets again next year!

7 days. 1,500 miles driven. What an amazing week. It all culminated on Sunday with the main Megavalanche race. I promised myself I would chill and not push the pace to avoid crashing and hurting myself. I’ve been in Alpe D’Huez all week practicing and racing the Megavalanche. An epic DH race with an unusual format. First of all there is a Qualifier Race. Heats of 150 riders battle down a rocky and pedally route to determine which final race they then compete in. Here is my full Qualifier. A good top section meant there was a lot less action for me lower down the hill...
