Well, that's our league had our final skate. 😢 It was a great night and so lovely to see so many people who've been part of FVRG over the years. Thank you to all who made it tonight to give us a lovely send off, everyone who helped us organise it and all those who couldnt make it, but were with us in spirit. Thanks also for everyone's kind donations for merchandise, we will be adding this to our donation to both men's and women's national Scottish Roller Derby teams after our finances have been wound up.

Last night, Fierce Valley Roller Girls held our AGM to decide the future of our league. Due to a gradual decline in members over the last year, it is with much sadness that we announce that we have now become unsustainable to continue running any longer.

We'd like to offer our heartfelt thanks to all members and supporters past and present for all the time, effort and money you have all contributed over the last 7 years we have been running. Thank you also to all the other leagues and individuals who've contributed valuable help, advice and coaching and those teams who've been our worthy opponents down the years. Finally, thank you to Alloa Round Table for your support over the years.

To end on a more positive note, we'll be hosting a fun free skate on Wednesday 13th December which we'll advertise soon. Everyone is welcome to attend! The remainder of our merchandise will be available at that time in enchange for a small 'pay as you feel' donation. Any money we collect from this and anything left over after our bills have been settled will be split between Team Scotland Roller Derby and Power Of Scotland - Team Scotland Men's Roller Derby to help with their imminent world cup campaigns.

I've no doubt our members will continue to be an active part of the Scottish Roller Derby scene and will see you on or around the track soon!
