⚫⚪ EXCITING NEWS FOR EAST STIRLINGSHIRE FOOTBALL CLUB ⚪⚫

After a 15‑year gap, East Stirlingshire FC will re‑establish a player development pathway, with a new U20 team entering the Lowland League East Development League next season.

This pathway will provide a clear transition from grassroots football, allowing players to progress from East Stirlingshire Galaxy FC Under 18s into the club’s U20 setup, strengthening the link between youth development and the senior game.

The U20s will be supported by a UEFA‑qualified coaching team, committed to providing a professional, high‑performance environment focused on player development and progression.
We are now inviting experienced players who wish to trial for the U20 squad. In addition, through our Talent ID programme, we have identified a number of players and will be making contact with those individuals through the correct channels.

🗣️ Ian Fleming, Director of East Stirlingshire FC, said: �“Reintroducing a structured development pathway is a significant step forward for the club. This U20 programme allows us to support young, ambitious players in a professional environment while strengthening the connection from grassroots football right through to the senior side. It’s about building sustainability and creating real opportunities for the future of East Stirlingshire FC.”

🗣️ Callum Tapping, Manager of East Stirlingshire FC, added: �“Having a U20 pathway in place is hugely important for the long‑term success of the club. It gives us a stronger platform to develop players in line with our football philosophy and provides a clear bridge towards the first team. This initiative will help ensure East Stirlingshire continues to progress both on and off the pitch.”

Looking to fill up the Easter holidays ? Our open sessions are a great opportunity for young goalkeepers aged 5–16 to improve their skills and build confidence with specialist goalkeeper coaching.

Open to boys and girls of all abilities — whether you’re new to goalkeeping or looking to develop your game further.

We are always looking to grow our goalkeeping community, so come along and experience our sessions and see how we can help develop your game.
