Probus U13’s vs Lanivet U13’s

A testing start to the season for the U13’s. An early goal from Probus should have settled the nerves, good work from Brendon on the right wing and a looped cross that fooled the keeper and defender and a good finish from Ollie as he crashed it into the net. Lanivet equalised not long after with some good passing play. Probus defended well but were guilty of hoofed clearances and sluggish play until the 2nd half when they relaxed a bit more. A corner from Will, a good header from Charlie at the back post across to Brendon who turned and shot home. A final goal was added by Brendon 5 mins later. A slow start but they got into their stride and did their jobs well. Need to be sharper against a better team. Notable mentions: Eddie played well on the left wing. Was replaced by Max who has gotten a lot quicker over the summer.
