Juniors
Congratulations go to our Golf 9's Team (Clark McKellar, Flynn Parker, Harry Small & Ciaran Odonnell) for winning at Old Musselburgh on Sunday. Old Musselburgh Links is reported to be the oldest Golf Course in the world and has been played on by many famous people, including Mary Queen of Scots and James VI.

The Golf 9's event was organised by Scottish Golf which included 56 players from 14 Golf Clubs across the East, West and the Central belt of Scotland.

Scoring by all teams was very impressive, with Gourock coming out on top beating Duns Golf Club by just 1 point. Top three places were as follows:-
Gourock Golf Club - 138 points
Duns Golf Club - 137 points
Cluny Golf Club - 134 points
Well done !
Our appreciation goes out to On-Site Scanning and Mrs Mary Sellar for supporting our Junior Section and we look forward to reporting on many more successes in the future.

Members & Guests - Our Members & Guests event took place on Sunday with 92 players taking part. Congratulations to Kenny Young and Jim Bonar who are this year's winners with 43 points.

Junior Club Championship -
After a rescheduled date due to bad weather the Junior Championship took place on Friday 14th August with a total of 27 players taking part. The Championship was in two parts, a 9 hole competition over the Blue course for the younger players, and an 18 hole competition over the Red course for the more advanced players.

The weather was kind to us which made for some very impressive scoring, with the following results:-

9 Hole Blue Course -
1st Alexander James (37) & Winner of the Bob Murray Trophy
Joint 2nd Sandy McKenzie & Fergus McColgan (38)

18 Hole Red Course Handicap -
1st Daniel Little 90-29 (61) & Winner of the Hamish McNab Trophy
2nd Clark McKellar 85-19 (66)
3rd Callum Chamberlain 98-31 (67)

18 Hole Red Course Scratch -
1st Euan Watters 68 & Winner of the Montgomery Cup
2nd Ross Doherty 78
3rd Kobi Phillips 84
