Ladies Championship & Thomson Trophy

On Sunday 7 June, 8 of our Lady golfers played 18 holes of golf in the first round of our Golf Championship and Thomson Trophy. The conditions were rather wet and windy, to say the least, but all of our intrepid golfers completed their round and headed out again on Sunday 14 to compete in Round 2.

This year Emma Boyd was the Ladies Champion and winner of the Turner Trophy with a gross 188, and in Second place, Joanne Wallace, with a gross 199.

The Thomson Trophy was retained for a second year by Susan Mooney with a net 163.

The presentation of prizes was held in the afternoon, attended by our Captain, Phil Harkins, Pro, Derek Watters and 45 members, guests and sponsors.

A great day celebrating the success of our worthy winners.

Golfing today? Off work for the footy holiday? Come along and have a bite of lunch and take in the view at Gourock GC. We are opened Monday and Wednesdays 10.00 - 14.00 (as well as usual Thu-Sun opening). If you wish to book call 01475 631001 option 3 although drop ins welcome.

Commencing Monday 15th June our kitchen will be opened from 10am - 2pm on Mondays and Wednesdays (as well as usual Thu-Sun opening). Why not come along and have some lunch before or after golf?
