Great news from Alyson at Active Physiotherapy Clinic and Greenock Morton FC
Greenock Morton are delighted to announce a new partnership with Active Physiotherapy Clinic, who will become the club's official physiotherapy providers for both the first team and academy.
The partnership sees Active Physiotherapy Clinic provide physiotherapy support across the club, helping to deliver high-quality care and rehabilitation services to players throughout the first team and academy setup.
The clinic is led by Alyson Fielding, a familiar face at Cappielow, having previously served as the clubβs first-team physiotherapist for a decade. Alyson's association with the club stretches back more than 20 years.
Throughout Alyson's 25-year football career, she has also worked at clubs such as St Mirren, Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle, and with her wealth of knowledge and experience, she was our top candidate to provide expert clinical services to our players through injury diagnosis and rehab.
Alyson had approaches from other clubs, but her passion towards Morton was too big an appointment to miss, and we are delighted to have secured her services for the season ahead.
Everyone at Greenock Morton would like to welcome Alyson and the team at Active Physiotherapy Clinic, and we look forward to working together to support the health, well-being, and performance of our players.
On todayβs partnership announcement, Alyson Fielding said: βI am absolutely delighted to be returning to Cappielow through this new partnership between Greenock Morton and Active Physiotherapy Clinic.β
βThis club has been a huge part of my life for more than 20 years, and I have so many great memories from my time working with the first team. Morton has always held a special place in my heart, so to have the opportunity to continue that connection and support both the first-team and academy players is something I'm very proud of.β
βIβm passionate about helping the squad perform at their best, recover from injury and stay healthy, and we're looking forward to working closely with the players and staff throughout the club.β
