Welcome to our page. We are in the PJDYFL and play on Sundays in fun 5s. We train every Tuesday and Thursday.

Fantastic effort tonight as the boys had there first taste of 7 a side football thanks to East End United 2018s for the game 🤝 as both teams start preperations for the next stage of the boys development .

This week it’s our resident goal poacher’s turn! 🎯😂

Jordan is up next in our Meet the Team series — and he’s managed to time it perfectly because he’s also our CURRENT PLAYER OF THE WEEK! 🏆👏

A striker with a real eye for goal 🎯 and always looking to get himself on the scoresheet!

Jordan has been putting in some great performances recently and fully deserves his Player of the Week award. ⭐️

A positive and competitive game day for St Andrews 2018s Blue, with the boys facing three good sides and coming away with a draw and a win.
All three games were closely contested, and the boys showed great resilience as the day went on. After taking a little time to find their rhythm early on, the squad grew in confidence, with their passing, positioning, communication and decision making improving across the fixtures.

The final game was a real highlight. The boys played with energy, worked hard for one another and produced some flowing football. A clean sheet was a great reward for the team’s defending and organisation, while some wonderful goals at the other end showed the quality the boys have when they play with confidence.

There are still a few areas for us to keep working on in training, particularly starting every game with the same focus and intensity shown later in the day. Overall, though, there was plenty to be proud of and lots to build on going forward.

⭐️ Coaches’ Player of the Week: Jordan F 🤩

Jordan has shown excellent effort and application both in training this week and throughout the game day. He contributed some great goals and worked hard for the team.

A positive return to league football as the second half of the season got underway and our first week playing at Intermediate level.

The boys played three good games against Renton Craigandro Black, St Mirren YFC White and Thorn Athletic Blue.

Across the matches, they showed resilience, improved their passing and decision-making, and grew in confidence as the day progressed.

The boys came away with two wins from three games, which was a great reward for their hard work, teamwork and willingness to take on coaching points throughout the day.

We are extremely proud of every player and the way they represented St Andrews BC 2018s Blue.
Plenty for us to build on in training as we continue to develop at Intermediate level throughout the remainder of the season.

Man of the Match⭐️- Sonny McClusky 🤩, for outstanding goalkeeping across all three games. His saves, distribution and composure made a real difference for the team, superb 🔥

Well done, 2018s Blue. 💙⚽

Preparing for the last half of the season 🔵⚪️

Boys are working hard on getting the basics right, looking forward to putting it to use on Sunday with our first game back to league duties💪🏻

Today seen our two teams take part in the first annual Morton In The Community cup 🏆

A great test for both teams with us coming up against some fine teams, plenty of positives to make the coaches happy ⚪️🔵 as always the boys should be proud of themselves for the effort they put in on an early Sunday morning 👏🏻

Thanks for having us Morton, we’ll be back next year 🤝
