A huge thank you to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance volunteers

We were thrilled to have their team visit our club to host a vital CPR and defibrillator (AED) training session for our members. Learning these lifesaving skills equips our club community with the knowledge and confidence to act quickly in an emergency.

We are deeply grateful for the incredible work the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance team does every day, both out in the community and in training people to save lives. Thank you for your time and support! 🙌

Absolute legend effort from Coach Brian on Saturday completing his 700 Point Challenge! Huge thanks to everyone who jumped on court with him, donated, and supported at the club 🥰

700 POINT CHALLENGE COMPLETED!

On Saturday, Brian completed his 700 Point Challenge, playing 10 ALTSBC members in games to a combined total of 70 points.

A huge thank you to everyone who called into the club to show their support. It was great to see so many people there, and hopefully everyone enjoyed the 70s tunes playing in the background!

It was a fantastic day and, as an added bonus, we even got a shout-out on Nation Radio South on Monday morning!

But the biggest news is that we have now raised over £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support!

A massive thank you to everyone who has donated, supported the challenge, played against Brian, or simply turned up on the day. Your support has been fantastic and very much appreciated.

🎾 NEW CHAMPIONS CROWNED! 🏆

A massive congratulations to Sandra and Angela, our 2026 Ladies Doubles Vets Club Closed Champions! 🎉👏

They took the title after an absolute thriller of a match against our fantastic runners-up, Elaine and Maggie. It was a super close contest from start to finish, showcasing some incredible tennis and great sportsmanship from both sides. Thank you Mark for looking the part as our match umpire.

Dates/Times/Costs for 5-9yrs Red Ball

Cost: £12.50 per session, £20 for two sessions in the same week

Time:9.00-10.30am

Week 1: Tues 28th July, Weds 29th July
Week 2: Mon 3rd Aug, Tues 4th Aug
Week 3: Weds 12th Aug, Thurs 13th Aug
Week 4: Mon 17th Aug, Tues 18th Aug
Week 5: Mon 24th Aug

Dates/Times/Costs for 9-14+yrs (plus advanced 8yr olds) Orange/Green/Yellow Ball

Costs: £25 per session, £45 for two sessions in the same week

Time: 9.00am-12.00pm

Week 1: Thurs 30th July, Fri 31st July
Week 2: Weds 5th Aug, Thurs 6th Aug
Week 3: Mon 10th Aug, Tues 11th Aug
Week 4: Weds 19th Aug, Thurs 20th Aug
Week 5: Tues 25th Aug

If you are unsure which session your 8/9 year old should attend, please get in touch for a chat. 9yr old beginners would be best in the Red sessions. 8yr olds with experience of using Orange/Green balls, will be best placed in the Orange/Green/Yellow sessions.
