SBSC Rowing Regatta
What a fabulous day to be rowing 🚣‍♂️ on the Solent! 8 boats from 4 local clubs took to the water with mixed crews of experienced and novice rowers for a fun regatta. Gosport Mayor Kirsten Bradley, was there to support the event and present prizes🏅. Well done to everyone involved, especially the Crazy Daisy crew who organised the event and have brought such energy and buzz to Stokes Bay👏👊🤩

Two days of sailing ⛵️, one night of fun 🤩 Saturday saw near ch*****ne sailing weather with slightly higher winds on Sunday, but plenty of ☀️ both days!
Congratulations to Charlotte Videlo, first Dinghy Handicap 🥇, also to Andy Kelley and Amanda Hall, first Catamaran 🥇

Also congratulations and a huge thank you to Sarah Gunby, who provided a DELICIOUS buffet for the Saturday night social 👏🥳. The evening had started on the roof with Pimm’s and entertainment from Debbie Cobbett. It was great to see so many of our members, enjoying the best view in Gosport 🧡

SBSC in conjunction with SMJSC are excited and proud to be once again be running the Optimist sailing at
Gosport Marine Festival. We will be based at the Cockle Pond in Walpole Park, in front of the cafe, where we will be offering “Try Sailing” for under 12’s, each boat will be helmed by one of our experienced cadets ⛵️. No experience necessary!
