This page is to inform Facebook members about Holbrook Judo Club and who we are and what we aim to do. We have classes at :-
Brune Park School in Gosport Mondays
Henry Cort School in Fareham Tuesdays
Hook With Warsash Primary School Wednesdays

We welcome all new members, and those who have practiced at other similar clubs in the past. We are a famil

y friendly club and welcome parents input we hold regular social and fundraising events throughout the year. You are always invited to attend our sessions and watch your childs progress.

Help celebrate Pauls 60 years of Judo

🥋 BRING A FRIEND WEEK AT HOLBROOK JUDO! 🥋

One of the core values of Judo is Friendship — and we’re excited to celebrate it after all its how I found out about the sport!

During the week beginning Monday 13th April, all our judoka are invited to bring a friend along to their class to share the fun, confidence and enjoyment that judo brings 💪✨

Spaces must be registered in advance so we do not overfill any classes.

Registration closes Sunday 12th April.

Just send me a message with friends contact details and we will be in touch.

Reminder to all club members, this Saturday we have our last session of the Spring term, we have cancelled our guest coach because of low numbers signed up for the masterclass so this weeks session will now be a Combined Class session and an opportunity to catch up on gradings for those who missed this terms grading days.

If you want a place on Saturdays session please let me know so i can add you to the list.

Anyone want some good news ?
1. Tina Penfold 6th Dan from Fort Purbrook Judo Club has agreed to come and give a masterclass in the spring term.
2. The smashed It Burger van is more than happy to support future events.

What a day at the Holbrook Judo Club Championships 2025 today, many thanks firstly to those who help out on a weekly basis David Hartley, Martin Fozzie Foster, Stuart Priestley, Jan Botting & Thomas Botting,
Also today would never of run without the help from Jon Stoica, Andrew Reeves, Henry, Amy, Archie & Olly.
And not forgetting Susan Smith & Dave Smith whose support is always there every year, and finally a mention for our new club Welfare Officer Dominique Thomas.
A big thankyou to all the players and parents for supporting the day (many for the first time) and of course Jessie Shuai for bringing the smashed it burger van to keep you all fuelled through the day.
We still have the Wednesday class this week and then a few weeks off before returning in 2026 with a revised bring a friend competition in 2026.

Everyone travelling to the Hampshire Squad session on Sunday. If you use the map attached you should be ok. If you put Aldermaston Recreational Society into the Satnav it should get you there. If anyone is coming from the M4 side that might take them to the gate on the other side of that end of site which is closed at the weekend, (you just drive around the corner to the Tadley side).
