Gosport Hockey Club

Gosport Hockey Club Winter Training Nights: M1 and M2 and W1 and W2 training Tuesdays 7-9pm and whole Club Training Thursdays 7-9pm at HMS SULTAN.

Junior Training Wed 6-7pm & Sat 9-10am at St Vincent College. Gosport Borough Hockey Club gives people of all ages the opportunity to take part and enjoy hockey and be part of a social club. All are welcome!

2025 - There are teams for men (4), women (3) and also juniors allowing people from age 4 and upwards to take part in local matches at various levels around Hampshire. Junior’s training Wednesday evenings 6-7pm and Saturday mornings 9-10am, held at St Vincent College. Adult’s training Tuesday (M1 and W1 only) from 7-9pm at HMS SULTAN and whole senior Club Thursday evenings 7-9pm at St Vincent. Indoor Walking Hockey Friday - Currently taking a break for Summer 2025.

For the first time in the Club’s history we’ve put out 4 women’s teams into the South Central Hockey League. 2 wins for our W1 and W2 and two defeats for the W3 and W4 against established teams. All round an amazing day with a great vibe at St Vincent. The Men’s 1s and M2s had friendlies and a win and a draw, great results there too. New and returning players in the M2s and W4s ❤️ 👏

Yesterday for the first time in the Club’s history 4 ladies teams were in league action.

1st XI played away at Basingstoke and despite a few hiccups getting there took a convincing 0-3 win! 🥇
2nd XI played at home against Petersfield and it was a close game with Gosport taking another win 2-1.
3rd XI played away to Haslemere and despite battling hard lost 5-0.
4th XI played at home against Hamble and always knew it was going to be a challenge and lost 0-9.

Some outstanding performances across our teams and to be honest the opposition as you could see their confidence blossoming as the game went on.

Our thanks go to our ever supportive parents, coaches at halftime, umpires and brave players who for some played their first ever game of hockey🏑🫶🏼
